About WellSpring

WellSpring is a nonprofit ministry that is working to transform the ethos of the Church by transforming the lives of leaders. In an era when the Church is experiencing attrition, waning influence in society, and significant burnout among its leadership, WellSpring is investing in Church and nonprofit leaders to facilitate renewed vibrancy, longevity, and vision for the Churches and communities they lead.

We are a spiritual formation ministry offering Biblically based and historically rooted resources that help people discover God’s personal, generous love, and the joy-filled life available in the Kingdom of God. Over 29 years, WellSpring’s ministry offerings have proven to facilitate long-term personal transformation that overflows into healthier relationships, work environments, and communities where people serve.

Our core ministry, SoulCARE, which is tailored to pastors and nonprofit leaders, is an innovative, cohort-based, 9-month retreat experience that nurtures a leader’s life with God and equips them for a vibrant, fruitful, and sustainable tenure in ministry.  WellSpring also provides continuing support to foster the ongoing spiritual health of pastors and leaders as well as training to amplify spiritual formation into their communities. Leaders thrive when they experience authentic and connected life with God. Healthy leaders build healthy churches and nonprofits that impact the world for good.

Building on this legacy, the current season of WellSpring is propelled by a vision to see more pastors gain access to our SoulCARE experience. Driving this vision is a two-part effort:

  1. To expand the organization’s impact by increasing the number of SoulCARE cohorts we offer into new geographic regions; and
  2. To amplify the efforts of pastors who have been in SoulCARE to grow their congregations into bodies that live the character and behavior of Christ in their communities.
