Growing: Small Groups: Learning to Live and Love out of Our Identity as God’s Beloved
7 Week Class
Learning to Live and Love out of Our Identity as God’s Beloved
Most of us believe that God loves us. “Jesus loves me, this I know…for the Bible tells me so” rings true, at least in our thinking. But the implications of fully living out of our identity as “Beloved of God” go far beyond what many of us are experiencing in the pressures, problems, pain and plain ordinariness of our everyday lives.
Whether you are just embarking on your pilgrimage of faith or are a well-seasoned traveler longing for fresh resources for the journey, a real and vital connection with God always transforms our personal lives and the societies in which we live, work and play.
This seven-week class will look to Christ as our living teacher as revealed in the gospels. Each evening session will include teaching, time for personal reflection and group interaction.
This class is offered periodically on Wednesday evenings: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
