The Lenten Season is a wonderful opportunity to reorient our faces toward Jesus Christ. Lent is really less about “giving things up” than it is about “feasting” on the grace, goodness, and amazing love of our Lord. To help you take advantage of this opportunity, we have prepared a “Portable Retreat” to encourage you to take time to attend to God’s movements in your life as you prepare to celebrate Jesus’ sacrifice for you on the cross and the power of his resurrection that follows. Take a couple of hours to yourself – at home, at the beach, in your car (my portable sanctuary!), on a walk, or wherever you can be alone.
